You stay on the streets to long you get dirty , when you  play in the  dirt, you will  get dirty." ..Terrance  . 39 years , and Rayette 43 years ..Terrance was shot while working at " Price retail " by a would be robber four times , his wounds required a lot of hospital treatment , he had no medical insurance and was under rehabilitation .for 21 months , when he came out he had no job , no money and was addicted to pain killers , became a " mule " for drug dealers , got busted went to prison , when he came out 2010 he was addicted .to heroin , forced to live on the street , as a scavenger , where he met his girlfriend .Rayette who was living rough on the streets , ..Rayette had a nervous breakdown after the death of her Mother and Father , started doing drugs , got picked up for being in possession of a nickel bag of pot .got three years in county jail , got out became a taxi dispatcher , went to school .at night at Vista community college , .became a hotel receptionist , but kept chipping at drugs , week end doper , fell into depression and lost her job , had to seek employment as a house keeper .again she fell into trouble with the law and was rearrested for dealing street drugs , pulled a four year bid ,in state prison , after getting out she had another break down , and went to John Muir hospital for treatment , her condition became worse , she left the  hospital delusional , stranded and lost , living on the street she became addicted to crack .
